Heat accounting

Thanks to Joule, the electronic heat metering system is active and it allows individual buildings to regulate their comfort temperature independently. It uses three different types of appliances – one located on each radiator of each apartment, one in the stairwell and a control unit equipped with gsm modem located in the building. Without the need to enter in the house, Joule remotely detects the effective heat production of each radiator. In this way, it can divide the specific consumptions of each apartment, directly communicated to the building administrator. The tracking takes place each month: an advantage that allows the possibility to check if there are any anomalies. Moreover, this system is “open” which means that Joule is not the owner of the software that controls the accounting, so it doesn’t have any obligation towards it. This represents fairness and transparency.
